What is flat pack?
Planpakk® is a firewood concept from Espegard® that simplifies and changes the way you handle and store firewood. The system consists of Planpakk Sack Stand 40 and Planpakk Firewood Sack 40 liters, as usual in well-regarded Espegard quality.
Horizontal opening
We have simply moved the opening from the top to the long side. The result is a small bag with a much larger opening that makes packing much easier and more efficient. The system provides a number of advantages for both firewood producers and those who operate self-picking operations.

Pack in almost half the time
Our tests show that packing time is significantly reduced. Provided that the working height has been adjusted, the time is halved compared to bags packed from the top. A large opening makes it possible to pack quickly and accurately. The bag is thus filled more evenly while at the same time gaining a more square shape. The square shape also makes it easier to stack on a pallet, which also means that the pallet capacity is better utilized.
Gentle on the entire body
Planpakk's firewood sack is packed horizontally, which means you don't have to stack the firewood deep into the sack. This also leaves both hands free to pack. The ergonomic stand means you reduce the strain on your back and neck. The shorter distance down to the entire sack reduces arm movements, and you can work much faster and more precisely than before.
